So yesterday morning I received this book through the post unexpectedly! Inside the jiffy bag was a letter stating that I had won the book from waterstones and giving me details of how to write my review and add it to their website. Whilst initially I was slightly underwhelmed as it isn't the sort of book I would normally read, I have started reading it and am surprised at how easy it is to read and how much I seem to be enjoying it so far. I guess the benefit to winning random books it that I am not confined to book I chose to read which tend to involve very similar themes or are from the same genre type.
The review for this book will be added onto this blog as normal as well as onto the waterstones website!
Hair Extensions
I then received these through the post this morning from a win on twitter. and whilst I was able to chose the colour myself and I do actually like the 'hair' colour I find the tinsel strands very off putting in real life. The picture does little to show quite how shiny these extensions look.
I may keep them and give them to my younger sister closer to Christmas as money issues mean that people are not going to be getting presents this Christmas. Maybe winning them will be my only option!
